Whilst looking at shots of vodka isn’t exactly at the top of our activities list (although its above watching the washing machine spin), this Bloody Brain Shooter concoction had us compelled to stare.

Mixing acidic lime juice and irish cream creates the curdling brain-like strands and un-tasty as it looks, sounds like it goes down a dream.

Designer Francesco Sommacal has recently been awarded the Red Dot: luminary design award for his sports equipment that replicates the sensation of snowboarding, surfing and skateboarding.

The 360 consists of two wheels connected by a flexible shaft. The user puts their feet inside the wheels and controls the direction of travel using body movements, as with board sports. The distance between wheels and slant can be adjusted to fit.

This superb looking lunchbox designed by Frederique Morrel, is  made from vintage tapestries. The design is based on the convenient format of a well known meal container for kids available at fast-food restaurants and folds flat.

Each product is one of a kind, so its way too good for daily use. Which brings me to wondering why would you get it? Maybe by unfolding flat, you could stick it on the wall.

If ever I saw a solid chair that looks like it would be comfortable, this would be it! Sculpted with the right negative parts, your bits would fit snugly as you park yourself down.

Not practical for women though eh? Especially pregnant women who need a seat. Or maybe the designer is trying to say its a man’s world (that needs rest).
