A few weeks off topic, but I still got Iron Man 2 gadgets on the brain. The film shows a glimpse of the future when it comes to how we interact with data and Engadget posted a few clips from the film with said vision.

Digital graphics technology and skills undoubtedly improve over time, but these computer generated portraits blew me away! They’re not just super realistic, but the likeness to some recognisable actors (a few below) is unbelievable. Next benchmark is to get computer generated people to move realistically, and then who knows where we’ll go.

There’s been a crop of 3D movie posters in the last year or so – notably Jaws and Robocop. They’re basically like designer toys but created as wall mountable dioramas that are based on their movie posters.

This Godzilla 3D poster is a nice addition, standing 11.5 inches tall and bursting from the frame.
