Students at HAWK Hildesheim put together this excellent stop motion piece depicting colours. Stop motion takes plenty of time and prep to put together, but I hate to think what they would do if they made a mistake with the paint.

A few weeks off topic, but I still got Iron Man 2 gadgets on the brain. The film shows a glimpse of the future when it comes to how we interact with data and Engadget posted a few clips from the film with said vision.

Dan McPharlin’s Miniature Retro Synthesizer Models

Australian artist/designer Dan McPharlin creates these amazing miniature retro synthesizer models entirely of paper and cardboard.

His pieces feature intricate replica detailing down to the switches, knobs and even wires.

Snowboarding, surfing and skateboarding combined

Designer Francesco Sommacal has recently been awarded the Red Dot: luminary design award for his sports equipment that replicates the sensation of snowboarding, surfing and skateboarding.

The 360 consists of two wheels connected by a flexible shaft. The user puts their feet inside the wheels and controls the direction of travel using body movements, as with board sports. The distance between wheels and slant can be adjusted to fit.
