Publishing house 4th Estate celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2009 and commissioned London’s Apt Studio to mark the occasion with a stop-motion film called This is Where We Live.

The film was produced in stop-motion over 3 weeks in Autumn 2008. Each scene was shot on a home-made dolly by an insane bunch of animators.

I wasn’t too bad at oils during art class, but I’m glad I never pursued it when there is talent like Amy Bennett‘s. She creates these amazing paintings which make her subjects look like real life miniature models.
