Knitting Graffiti



I had no idea what to expect upon reading “knitting graffiti”. But this make me laugh. It reminds me of receiving an uncomfortable knitted turtleneck jumper as a present when I was young, and being forced to wear it.

But how much work was this piece to create?!

Carol Hummel did this and was a juried winner in an arts competition in Ohio. It’s not quite knit graffiti in the same vein as Knitta and the other yarnbombing groups, but beautiful nonetheless. It does make you smile :)
