I don’t think its the photographers fault that these people are like this. What do you call war photography then? Do you blame the photographer for the war and attrocities? I think the photographs are there to capture and record a moment. Its then up to each individual to decide what interpretation they take away from it.

Hi hate this, these animals are treated like shit..this is not beautiful and its not an art its wildlife abuse….You people have no idea how brutal they are to these animals.

I seen pieters work in the Open Eye Gallery in liverpool uk,last year and i was totally blown away his photos are tell a story all by themselves.

I had googled Pieter Hugo hyenas because I came across his photo in a Southeast Gallery Guide (USA), describing an exhibit of his work showing through August 16th at the Bass Museum of Art in Miami, FL.
Your comments are interesting, thank you.
I wanted to mention that for some reason your website runs off into the lefthand margin of my monitor screen, cutting off the first two or three letters of each line of your comments.
