Most results of “craft” are inspirational to see, when the dedication and skill involved are obvious. Take these “Sculptures of rust” by Joshua Pennings for example.

The likeness of his sculptures with their intended subjects are clear enough, that we can understand what we see, but enjoy the new aesthetic he has given them.

The nice thing is that Joshua is a graphic designer by trade, so inspires us all to think laterally and try our skills with other media.
