Pimp my Cuckoo Clock

As an idea, this poster for a mortgage company, that wants to enable anyone to realise their dream of better living, conveys the message well.

Rather than show off a real life scenario, they’ve taken a traditional and accessible, homely decoration – the cuckoo clock – and have shown it in a new light.

Whether it was intentional or not, I like the subtle “Pimp my…” reference of this concept, which ties in neatly with contemporary culture’s “Pimp my Ride” programmes etc..

Aside from being a great idea, I just love the miniaturisation of this fantastic “dream lifestyle”. If I saw this in a shop, I’d buy it, and once installed at home, I’d use the helipad to land my miniature radio controlled helicopter!
